Embossing Presses
Embossing presses are an economical way to personalise stationery, notepaper & documents. Alternatively they can add that official touch of a seal to documents, certificates and academic awards.
Embossing has long been regarded as the most secure method of verifying documents. We offer a complete range of presses from the popular “Elite” hand-held personal stationery embosser, to powerful desktop models for embossing diplomas, certificates and legal documents.
We can also make new dies to be fitted to old antique presses, and automatic models which are custom built for large commercial applications. Thanks to computer design and machining technology we can create detailed and innovative graphics for the dies.
Custom Medallions in Brisbane
Medallions are especially popular with schools, tertiary institutions, and sporting clubs as awards. Our quality medallions are made with Copper or Brass and plated in Gold, Nickel Silver or Bronze. If you want something really prestigious you can even opt for Sterling Silver or 9ct Gold.
We are also able to produce custom designed medallions featuring your unique crest or logo! The most cost effective way to do this, is to get your full-colour design put onto a digitalprint plastic insert which is fixed to a medal.
The history of medallions can be traced back more than a thousand years when the crude stamping of a ruler’s image was used for identification and award recognition. Since 1937 (not quite that long a history…), our craftsmen have made many medals for local, national and world events. Our attention to detail in die making, stamping and the final finish guarantees impressive results.
Dies and Punches
Engraving is commonly used to identify a product, part or possession. The art of tool and die making relies almost exclusively on some form of engraving process (which has been revolutionized by the development of CNC and laser machines).
Our tooling factory has a number of different machines capable of engraving, tagging, numbering or machining metal parts and dies. Embossing presses, wax seals, mould inserts, burn branding irons, metal stamps, punches, and type are just some of what we make using the CNC and Laser engraving method.
